tHinc. (pronounced think) is the acronym for The Hesh Inc. It came to me in a daydream while I was on guard duty on the perimeter of my base on the outskirts of Jericho, sometime during the summer of 1986, during my IDF service. Later that summer I scribbled these lyrics, loosely influenced by Aretha Franklin's hit "Think" (as redone with the Blues Brothers, of course), also while on guard duty. Some 13 years later, when it came time to release my first album, "tHinc. records" became the name of my putative record label. I'd like to say that it was a wee bit more serious than that, that I was thinking about the future of the relationship I was involved in at the time, but it wasn't. Just a daydream ditty, no more.
